Being a JAMMER......

Have you guys "jammed"????

Now I am using internet, reading different replies from the world's largest online forum == HABITAT JAM (www.habitatjam.com) to discuss about the urban sustainability in the future.

I haven't got much time to be online for 72 hours (oh, this event is consecutively last for 72 hours)...
but everytime when i logged in to the forum or receive updates from the Habitat Jam --

I really feel impressed, inspired.

Over 140000 people the globe is joining this discussion, in developing countries like India, Kenya, people who are living the slums, they even group up as a large group at around 3000 people to be online at the same time (is something like a world cafe thing) to express their ideas --
man, just imagine, is Kenya! is India! People who are living in slums!!!
I can imagine how much they are EAGER to hope their voices to be heard, no matter how difficult they are to access internet, they can miss this chance to try to make some little changes to the future.

These stories make me feel ashamed indeed as a citizen from a developed country why I did not stay in front of internet to interact with different walks of lifes...why I am not proactive enough to voice out.

I think, this is our responsibility, and indeed, even people who are in poor condition, they are fulfiling their responsibility, why not us?
